The DGR Story (Pools): We started as a humble company of 1 tiler working on small projects such as pool copings and waterline tiling repairs. In the past 12 months we have grown rapidly into a team of 5 staff. We now specialize in large projects such as whole pool surrounds and tiling of small to large swimming pools. We have conducted commercial work for several high profile clients in the region including DOMA HOTELS, local building companies, Signature STRATA and multiple real estate agencies as well as insurance work.

Our Process

Why choose us?

Stage 1: Client contact - this is the stage where a new lead reaches out to us and engages the first time. During this stage we will get your basic contact details and arrange a site inspection. Often times we can provide a preliminary estimate based on photos and a brief discussion on the job specifics and of course photos.

Stage 2: Site visit - on our free site visit we will walk through your project with you and inspect the workspace looking for any additional requirements or issues we might face. During this stage we will aim to answer all your questions and gather enough information to send a formal quote through for your review. We have very efficient turnaround times and for certain jobs we are able to confirm pricing and lock in attendance within 24-48 hours of doing a site visit. Larger more complex projects require more time.

Stage 3: Quote sent - we will send you through a detailed itemized quote based on our discussions for your review, at this stage we will present you with customizations including colour options, product options and various methodologies we will use in your project. If you decline the quote we will close the enquiry and if you accept the quote we will engage with you for next steps. On quote acceptance we will secure your position with a 10% deposit. We will also confirm an anticipated start date at this stage based on workload and your requirements along with an estimated timeline of the project.

Stage 4: Ordering of materials - Once we have received your 10% deposit we can progress to ordering the materials for your job. At this stage a progress payment is usually required to cover material costs and will need to be paid prior to significant materials being ordered. Once the materials are paid for they will be ordered and delivered to site upon which your job can commence.

Stage 5: Your job commences and progresses - Ahh! The day we have all been waiting for. The materials are onsite your job is ready to go. The job commences and progresses. Throughout our time onsite we will aim to work efficiently and effectively while working to minimize environmental hazards, noise and inconvenience. We have state of the art equipment and techniques that enable us to work quickly, effectively and with minimal disruption to your household or business premises. At this stage of the project you will liase with the business owner and Charlie the site foreman as needed. As project milestones are reached it is likely progress payments will be required as per the quote and contract. On practical completion we will work with you to ensure any defects and minor issues are cleared up and site handover is completed in a timely manner to your satisfaction. When your job is over we are only a phone call or message away. We will always provide aftersales support to our clients and honour any warranties and we will likely follow up with you a few weeks after the project is over to see how it is all tracking. Here at DGR Renovations we can do all this in house. We specialize in all aspects of this work from start to finish utilizing the same team (no subcontractors needed). Charlie, Joey and the boys will come demo your pavers and tiles, pave your pool surrounds, tile the pool waterline, paint it and then our boys from POOLSMART TRUE BLUE PTY LTD which is also owned by us will come and clean the pool, balance it and sort out the equipment.

In the example of hiring us to say do your bathroom renovation then Charlie and the boys will handle the whole process from start to finish. We will do the demo, sheeting, waterproofing and tiling and appliance installation all internally. We will only use subcontractors to do licensed electrical and plumbing work everything else is done by our team.
